Help '66 Electrical issues
I just bought a '66 vert. The car looks and runs great but several electrical items do not work. Radio,power antenna,power windows,dash lights and wipers. The head lights both low and high beam work. They roll over no problem. The horn works. The interior lights work. The clock even works. The car is being delivered this week. Where should I look first?

Fuse panel. Then, using the shop manual wiring diagram, check all the connections. Dash lights, check the rheostat headlight **** (turn it ccw). Others may add more details.

First, check fuses, then check grounds. For wipers, the ground runs to the heater fan box on the passenger side near the battery, then down to a starter mounting bolt. Check that ground at the fan and if the fan also doesn't work, check the black wire that goes from there to the starter mounting bolt.
