Default balancer wobble
anyone, the balancer (8",327 forged crank) had runout at idle, smoothed out above idle and runout again at about 3000rpm. so i installed a new one. same problem. anyone heard of this? is it likely a crank crack, or snout dimension problem? fix? any help appreciated. thanks, don

Is it fully seated against the crank sprocket? If it is, sounds like the old one beat up the crank snout pretty well.

I have seen bent crank snouts from getting whacked one way or another.
