Default Dropped Spindles

I am interested in dropping my front end about 2 inches or so. Has anyone installed dropped spindles. I have heard that the spindles for a 63 vette are the same as used for several years of passenger cars. If that is so, then I know that I could by dropped spindles from Fatman Fabrications. If not, I have not been able to find any dropped spindles.

I am not too thrilled about cutting my springs. Any suggestions?

Dropping your front end 2 inches will seriously compromise the (already limited) range of tire sizes your car can accommodate, and will increase the possibility of serious fiberglass damage.

I looked but never could find a suitable set of dropped spindles for a "stock" C-2 suspension. I ended up doing major mods and running dropped Monte Carlo spindles ... including narrowing the front by 1 1/4 inches per side to get the tires inside far enough to clear the fenders. There are some photos of all the work required on my web site.
