Default 1961 Frame off start

Hello, I am just getting ready to begin a frame off resto on my 1961 Corvette and could really use 1 piece of info to get started. While I have the restoration guide book and have orderd 2 other repair manuals, can anyone help me to identify the location and number of the mounting bolts of the body to frame connection? What size are these? Does anyone have any tips and or techniques to get these out easily? Thank you in advance for support you could help with on this task.

Best regards.

The Assembly Instruction Manual (AIM) will provide the needed information. I assume that is one that you have ordered.

I want to say there are 8 body mounting bolts....the AIM should show them. You should prob record and keep the shims (and how many are in each spot) where the body mounts...they are critical to getting gaps right, avoiding bulges in the front fenders, etc..

There are plenty of regular posters on here that have pulled bodies of C1s. John McGraw is one example, many others too.
