What publication did you get that pulley chart out of ???
RON
The chart was made by Mark Gorney, an NCRS member. He developed a series of engine pulley charts for midyears and posted them on the NCRS forum years ago. His charts have been regarded as the most accurate ever put together by anyone (including GM).
I just read that Mark passed away on Tuesday - he'll be missed.

Very helpful info.
Might mention that for the L79, there is considerable doubt that any came with an idler.
I happened to buy a '65 L79 which had an idler. It was questioned by some folks with a lot more experience than I had at the time.
My research led to the conclusion that they were right. The 365hp motor (and FI) had an idler, but the 350hp L79 did not come with one.
Left it on, though..... It got removed by the next owner who took the car up to a regional Top Flight.
