In Northern Alabama (Athens AL, 15 miles south of the TN State Line off I-65) try Lucky's Restorations, phone 256-444-2520. Seth and Audrey Wood own the shop, their work is top notch. My 67 Coupe Body is there now.
They come to the Corvette Expo in Sevierville, Tennessee twice a year and do some quite incredible customs. You can do a search for their shop and they have a gallery of works that they have done.

Good luck... GUSTO
I'm a customer of B-Rod Or Custom. If you are looking for a shop to do a "Restoration" of you Corvette, they are not are not, quote a restoration shop. They are Custom/Hot Rod/Restomod Shop.
The owner Larry also had a Stripping business "Strip Technologies" for many years, until January of this year when he sold it and that was his primary reason for being at Corvette Expo.
If you want a Restomod/Custom build, an want to see his work with Corvettes, he will have a display at Fall Corvette Expo show that was held in Sevierville TN, but has moved to Loudon Tn for fall show this year. My current in progress build, Jimmy Joe will be on display there as well as the build in my avatar I call Lydia.

Jere, thanks for the update and posting the flyer. I have talked to a number of the regular vendors and they are planning to be at the Convention Center in Sevierville as in the past. Not sure what the flap is about, but I do know some will not be in Loudon.
I didn't realize that "Lydia" was your car. The subtle yet dramatic changes that they have made on it are incredible. I look forward to seeing the completed car, I think it is going to be spectacular.
Lots of people here have used Seth at luckys. He didn't do any work on my car BUT I have to give him massive props for helping me work with my insurance company when I was hit. I would have to recommend him to anyone looking for quality work. He is very responsive. Athens isn't far.
Hank,
I am also in central Tennessee (Nashville area), and when you say that you are looking for a restoration shop the first question that comes to mind is what work do you want performed, and what are your goals.
If you want to have a nicely painted car that you drive on Sundays, then you have a lot of options. If your goal is to have the car judged at either NCRS or Bloomington, then you need to pick your shop very carefully; keeping a sharp focus on both your wallet and the experience of the shop.
In many years of judging I have seen some very disappointed owners when they find out much too late that all of the money they gave to a so called Corvette expert gave them a car with a lot of "bling" but totally missing the mark of their objective of having it restored to the judging standard.
This is not a push for you to go either way, just for you to ensure you have your goals/objectives firmly defined before you hand over your car and your checkbook to ANY shop.
