1966 engine wiring harness

Who makes the best and/or recommended engine wiring harness for C2's? Thanks

I used Lectric Limited when I replaced mine and it was great quality and fit. Either theirs or M&H would be my recommendation.

This has been asked and answered a few times over the years..........so a lot of good info is in the archives.

That being said, the general consensus was M&H. Check the archives and read all the comments for yourself.

For my own car (1967), I would choose M&H if I needed to rewire.

I just replaced my '67 SB engine harness with a Lectric Limited unit. It was spot on.

M&H list 1 piece harness $339.00. Lectric Limited list 1 piece $339.00 and an additional piece $43.00.? What is correct and why two different types?

Mine was one piece, and I ordered it from Corvette America. Basic application...327, NO A/C.
Go directly to CA web site and look for #29287...'66 engine harness.

Here are the two harnesses you're asking about. From Lectric Limited...one is the engine and forward lamp harness the other is headlight bucket extension harness.

VIG6700 ENGINE AND FORWARD LAMP HARNESS, all Note: Requires use of VHX6367 to complete wiring to headlights $339.00

VHX6367 HEADLIGHT BUCKET EXTENSION HARNESS SET, all (includes pair of pre-assembled harnesses) $43.00

I guess I'm still confused a little. I thought once you unplug the bulkhead connectors all the firewall forward wiring was one continuous piece (except maybe for some ground wires). Right now my car is 80 miles away so I can't confirm this.
