Is this a corvette intake??
I have an old intake lying around the garage and was curious what it's for. The casting number is 3799349 and it has a date code of H251.
My best guess is a high rise 327 intake has it has a hole for the oil fill/breather at the front.

Date code is August 25, 1961 and the 3799349 casting was not used on the corvette until 1963. Probaly a passenger car rather than a corvette.
Possible but unlikey a corvette piece.
Great item to practice welding cast iron with though. I sliced up my '74 iron intake and welded it back together with hi-nickle rod. I had more fun with it that way than letting it sit in the garage.
