Default 427 bbc

Just purchased a 427 2 bolt block casting numbers 3869943 has hi perf pass stamped on the front and back of the block wandering if anyone would have any info.

You sure that last digit is not a 2.

Then that is a block that was used only in 1966 Corvettes and Impala's. Also sold over the counter. Also when selecting a cam shaft you MUST use one with a grove in the rear journal or you will not get any oil to the top end

I bought it thinking it was a tall deck but it's not. Would you have any idea what it's worth?

Value will depend if there is anything on the stamp pad, what bore the cylinders are and of course if there is no cracks or any other faults that would make it rebuild able

Haven't had it to a machine shop yet but guy I bought it from said it was on perfect shape doesn't seem to have any visible problems that I can see

Pictures of the casting numbers on the rear bellhousing flange, all numbers on the front stamp pad, and the cast numbers on the side near the coolant drain plug. Also a picture of the side of the oil filter mount showing the oil line fittings. And also pictures of the bores, lifter valley, and main caps.
