Default 1961 283 engine ID help

Just picked up a spare 283 as a backup for my original present 61 245hp dual quad which I am PRESENTLY rebuilding and I am having a difficult time with some of the numbers on the spare 283 I picked up. the spare is out of a 61 230hp automatic. The engine cast number and cast date are correct, block #3756519, date L290, the heads are also correct #3774692, date L300, intake #3746829 date J250. Whats throwing me are the numbers stamped on the pad. The engine was rebuilt years ago and decked so the first set of numbers are no longer visible on the pad but the second series of numbers are just visible and they are FOI03DB. now according to what I have found on my research the second to last number (D) indicates automatic and I know that this engine did come out of a 61 corvette automatic but the last number (B) I have been unable to ID to anything listed on line or here. If anyone can enlighten me I would appreciate it. Thanks

One reference lists DB as: 1961 283 230HP 4 BBL Powerglide

I know you said it came out of a Corvette, but it sure appears the engine may have been changed previously to a passenger car engine.

The "DB" suffix is a '61 283/230hp passenger car Powerglide engine.
