Radiator fluid

What is the correct radiator fluid for my 1964 alum Harrison radiator. I know there is something in some of the fluids that I need to avoid. but can't remember. Thanks for any help!

sounds like anything but alcohol based fluid will be ok. Dewitt says water used is more important and to use only distilled water. Makes sense.....Thanks

The more important thing is to change it every 3-5 years. The additives wear out even though it still looks green.

agree totally. Just concerned because I heard aluminum radiators had some problems with certain anti freeze ingredients. thanks for you input

Also look for low on silicates and phosphates. Both are like sand in your system and work on the water pump seal shortening its life. Some brands offer zero phosphates and silicates.
