Need a little clarity decoding an engine- what to make sure I am correct

Block - 3782870 - 327
Casting Date - *** - Jan 5 1965
Stamp - F0106HT - Flint MI, Jan 1966 build, 350HP/Manual
Vin stamp - 51071 - 5, 1965, 1071 last 4 VIN matching, correct?

Something seems to be missing. The VIN should be 5S1 followed by '5' numbers.

I would think a Jan build date would have a higher VIN than 1071.

That stamp code might mean month and day-of-month meaning January 6th, not January 1966.

Jan 6th (presumably 65), but your missing at least a digit in your Vin. They will all start after the model and style numbers, with 5S1*****. For example, mine was 194375S106678, 65 coupe, #6778 made, was built Jan 13, 1965. If yours was built in Jan, it should have a number pretty close to 6778 for the last four
