Default 1963 center console restoration

Well - I've done all I plan to do before judging the end of this month. The last item is to install my center console restored by Andy Cannizzo.
There are still true craftsman in the world. The pictures really don't do the piece justice and I wish I had 'before' pics so you could see how bad it was before he worked on it. An amazing transformation!

Looks great Frank. But I'm going to show my 63 ignorance here but what are the notches for on the extension pieces

They are notches to allow access for the U-shaped "horseshoe" molding that wraps around the bottom of the console waterfall. It lets you get the screws through the U molding into its brackets as shown

So, I've been learning over the past two years - sometimes painfully!

Frankie, you do nice work yourself. I have been following your progress over the last 6 months or so.

Those pieces are like jewelry now, Frankie. I'd be afraid to rest a piece of ladies lingerie on there for fear of ruining the finish

Frankie:
Good luck with the NCRS judging. From the work you have done, you should score fairly well!!!!
Cheers
