Default Teal blue soft top on 67 PICS

Elkhart blue with teal blue leather interior currently has a white top that will be replaced.
I think would look classy with the dark teal blue soft top. Anyone have this combination?
Do you prefer the vinyl or Haartz Stayfast soft top?
Anyone have a picture of the Haartz dark teal blue top? How does it look?
Where to buy??

Thanks, Jeff

Default top

Jeff, I will be needing a top in a few months and have been trying to find a teal material as well. I've been told there's not enough volume to warrant producing the color...

Yeah, I checked with several vendors that didn't have them on website or catalog because they said the blue teal tops are made after order is placed, and the price fluctuates, so they don't list them.
I just ordered my Al Knoch teal blue top and the price is more than double the white or black top.

My Al Knoch teal top was $550 when I bought it in January 2014. Are they up to $1,000 now?

Jeff - I didn't realize the white and black tops were so much less expensive.

I'm thinking of replacing the teal carpeting and seat covers. Wonder if there is a "teal tax" on those, too.

Not sure how you can improve on a great color combo.

Steve,

I don't think so on the seat covers and carpet. I can tell you I love the teal interior, so classy and rich looking. Wasn't a huge fan of the Elkhart blue, but I think the teal blue top will compliment the Elkhart.

Jeff - I like the teal interior, too. The teal interior and top look nice on my white car and I agree that a teal top would look good on your car. Only 611 out of 14,436 convertibles were built with teal tops so you don't see them too often. I've only seen them on black, white, and Elkhart cars

The teal carpet in my car is OK but a little tired and faded from the Florida sun. And my seats have a very small area where the seam is coming apart (same spot on both seats) so I figure I might as well replace them at the same time.

The only change I'm going to make involves a Trim Tag violation. I'm going to replace the vinyl teal seats with leather teal seats.

Steve,

Same here. Trim tag is vinyl, but upgraded to leather.
Your car looks great, BTW!

Had to jump in with another Teal Top and Bright Blue Interior. Only change from what it was born with was to replace the vinyl seats with leather.

Thought I might catch some heat for saying I was going to switch out my original vinyl teal seats for leather teal seats but I see I'm not the first to commit this trim tag violation. But I figure my car already has aftermarket PS, PB, A/C, and electronic ignition so the horse has already left the barn as far as originality. I enjoy the car more with those add-ons.

I've heard of at least one case where someone swapped out leather seats for vinyl.
