I dropped her off at RK today. Hopefully she will find a loving home quickly. Thanks to the lowering bolts from vette brake products that showed up Wednesday, the rear finally sits just right to match the front.

I was wondering if you were going to take it there. I'm going to Charlotte 1st of May. Wife has a seminar there so I'm going along for the ride. I'm going to RK while I'm there to talk about future consignments.. Hope they sell it as fast as the last one you took there.

Chris. If I had the resources you wouldn't have had to take it to RK. Beautiful job once again.

Unless they process the car and find a buyer extremely quickly, I'm sure you'll get to see the 59 again. I'll be heading back to RK in about 2 weeks to drop off the 65 Shelby...you know, the only car I was supposed to bid on at the auction. Tony Klein is who you want to speak with. He is the consignment manager.

Thanks Rich! Kind words! It's amazing what a suspension and brake upgrade plus new wheels can do for a car!

Beautiful job Chris. What was the part number of the rear spring you used for the rear? What the front originally setup for a leaf spring, then you converted to coil overs? I thought the Correction Chassis had leaf springs front and rear.

Thank you, Ken. It had C4 composite springs, front and rear.
The front has the stock k member from a C4. I took out the composite spring and replaced with the van steel coil over conversion. The rear spring is the hyperco street/strip version. I believe it's rated at 320pds, but I'll need to look to say for certain.

Thanks and I sure hope so. It's taken them almost a month to get it listed.

I'm headed to Charlotte tomorrow. I'm going to RK Monday. I'll look for it. Is your Shelby there?

Not yet. The stack injection had some major issues and it just came home today from being professionally tuned. After test driving today I realized that it really needs a power steering cooler, so I most likely will not drop it off for at least another 8 days.
Have fun on your trip!

I was at RK today. Here it is in its sales spot. This was a nice car to start with but now that someone with a good eye worked on it it's definitely at the next level.

I don't know what they are doing to it but that yellow riviera is sitting in the same spot.

Thanks for the pictures, Bruce! Im glad they put it out front with the other Vettes.
Im sure a lot of the cars people dump off need extensive work and maybe that is the case with the Riviera. However, at 110 per hour, i would not want to pay them to do any lengthy work.

%€£¥#*! I've been following your 67 build and came back to this about the coil overs. I missed post 49 about the coil overs being a complete failure. I used the smaller diameter steel half shafts and hopefully will be able to mount the ex where it won't interfere with them. Do you remember what rate the front springs were? Was it an aluminum block? I will start out with 275 lb springs on the rear unless you have better input.

oh man, I have no idea. I'll need to dig back through receipts. I still have those rear coil overs since I couldn't send them back.
The front springs were 350pds I believe.
