Default 58 seat clarification please (parts list)

I need some clarification as to the assembly of my 58 seats. I've purchased...

New correct springs
new seat covers
new cotton kit with two strips of felt and burlap (no wires)
new foam padding
burlap with the wires

My question Is,
the new cotton kit that I ordered came with
only two strips of felt, burlap without the wires and two sheets of cotton and are labled "st back cotton pad and burlap
Am I going to need more felt and cotton padding for the lower cushions too?

I don't know of any cotton padding or felt on the seat backs. The felt (jute) go around the bottom seat rim. The cotton padding goes in the bottoms around the springs. I don't understand why the burlap doesn't have wires. It is supposed to protect the foam from the springs. (I like to use a piece of jute)

Yes that's what I thought but the label on the package says "st back" I assumed that it was used for the back cushion.
Thanks

there is burlap that is attached to the top of the seat backs under the foam. There is also two places on the seat backs that the burlap is used as a support between the coil springs. This burlap is black (originally) I think AK usually supplies it in black.

Al Knoch did my '58 seats. Here's the way he did it.

Here's the entire interior project.

So it looks like I'm just missing the upper black burlap that goes under the foam.
Thanks

Great pictures thanks everyone!
Just got off the phone with Al knoch Interiors and their black burlap kit includes the four black pieces that attach to the springs as well as the two black pieces one on either side at the top of the seats.
Thanks for all the help.

Can someone confirm if cotton padding (see picture) was originally used on "top" of the retainer, on both sides?
Jute padding covered the retainer plate on either side and front but not the rear, correct?

Thoyer would you happen to have any more pictures?

Wilbur, this is based on nothing--bet the jute wasn't used. Hope someone actually solves your problem.

If I am reading your question right the jute is used around the seat ring to help protect it from cutting through the foam. I have never seen the cotton batting used on the top. It is used in between the springs and the cover around the front and sides.

Wilbur, I watched the corvetteamerica video for 61-62 installation and I see that the entire top and sides are covered with burlap. The bottom looks like it has the same material or thin jute strip covering only the retainer from side to side and front. From your picture yours looks so old and original but looks like a thick section of cotton on the retainer. Guess you figured it out.

I like to use jute to cover the springs on the bottoms (instead of or in addition to the burlap/with wire) I feel this is a better barrier between the springs and foam.
