It was my understanding from your earlier posts that you weren't installing the hard to find expensive 2 bolt manifolds. If you did recently purchase a pair you also have to purchase the generator mount mount bracket. It attaches to the front motor mount . There is only one mounting provision on the 2 studs the other is on the bracket . Pictures were posted by member 55copper and on ebay fleagle has a quality reproduction available very limited supply . These early 56's were the first Chevy Hi Perf cars and only @ 700 produced .

1956 Corvette sifter plate for PG or 3 speed was made of zinc not aluminum as most people think , late 56 was aluminum. The zinc plate weighed 3 times the aluminum did .It's one of the rarest plates you'll ever find , worth 100 times more then the cost of aluminum and the character of the numbers is different and deep.

That choke stove looks pretty darn good, nice work!!! I have the generator mounting bracket that you need, and a set of spark plug wire mounts, this is the last pieces of early 56 parts that I have left. I am selling my last early 56 car in January auctions and don't plan on doing another one, so these parts will be available. Now, with that being said, it will be a couple of weeks before I will be in Arizona where they are located and I will have to dig them out and check condition and price. As you know, this early stuff is not cheap.
