Hey Mike!! I've been away from the forum for a while. Hope things are well in AZ. Don't know if I sent you a pic of the engine since I rebuilt it. I decided to put a pair of cast valve covers on... well, just because I like them.. I kept the originals but I just like the way these look. The air filter element is a cheapo repro from Paragon for driving. The rest is pretty much straight.

On the color combo...
I've never seen the combination of Laguna Blue and Silver offered in any GM literature. This was a special order combination, with codes as stated on the trim tag. I've only seen pictures of another and it was on this forum. I'm thinking of taking it to Corvette's @ Carlisle this year and definitely to Watkins Glen Vintage Race Week in Sept. The Corvette is this year's marque. There will be some awesome cars there; maybe even a Grand Sport...or two. Thanks everybody for the compliments. After 50 years, these things still look very cool.
