I had a leak from around a hardened valve insert that was repaired with some high temp sealant/Loctite and a new seat. I want to bore scope the cylinders to be sure the leak is gone.
I got a cheap one from China that hooked up to my laptop. Video quality was quite decent. This is a video I took inside my oil pan when I found it was getting hit by the crank.
Yep, have an AC Delco version that I bought online. I could see the ".030" stamped on the top of the pistons, certifying that the engine had previously been bored.........
Also verified that the heads have the large 2.02 intake and 1.94 exhaust valves (by the minimal gap between the 2 valves).
And I think they are normally referred to as a "bore scope".........

Yep, boroscopes is what they called them. I used them a lot in aviation boroscoping inside of turbine engines, compressor areas and combustion chambers. Of course the ones we used were very expensive. My son bought me one made by "Milwaukee" for Christmas and it works very well for the car here at home.
