My '64 Coupe has no tail, (1 weak) directional, plate or brake lights (doesn't have B/U). All others ok. There is power on both sides of the rear harness connector under the dash. I've looked at the wiring diagram and am wondering if there are grounds hidden away back there (looks like it in the diagram). Mechanical issues, no problem. Electrical issues...now I'm in trouble. Ideas anyone?

If its wired the same as my '66, there should be a group of ground lugs coming off the harness in back which connects to each and every light.

All the lights at the rear are grounded by the same wire coming up through the rear body connector. It is connected to the dash ground. The wire is black. You can get the same effect by grounding the black wire at the rear to the frame, but to troubleshoot you need to find at what point your ground for the rear is not connected. As said earlier, all the lights at the rear have grounds on the sockets that all connect together. The odd thing is that they all ground (from the factory) at the dash ground instead of the frame. If you ground any one socket (or bulb base) it should ground all the rear lights if all wires are good.
