Default Firewall Pics

I have removed windshield wiper motor and harness along with everything else in preparations for detail under the hood. Would members please post pics of their firewall, not sure if I want to leave the heaterbox gray color or paint black? What would your suggestions be??????

Thanks

I don't have a pic of the firewall. Are you doing a NCRS detail, or just a personal refresh of things? If NCRS, follow the guidelines. Otherwise, do as you like. Dennis

The heater blower case was NOT painted - it's natural fiberglass. If you'll get the NCRS '66 Technical Information Manual & Judging Guide, it has over 100 pages of detailed text and photos that show what your Corvette looked like when new.

Jeht,

How in the world did you get the arms separated under the dash? I'm on top of my head trying and they're either rusted together or something. Also, did you have problems getting the center vent off?

Thanks,

Ha! Nevermind....I went back out and it popped right off. Must have held my mouth right that time.

Thanks,
