Default Right-Hand ‘63 Corvette Z06 Is One-Of-A-Kind

Here’s something you don’t see that often -- a right hand drive ’63 Corvette Z06. Then again, there’s only one in existence, so that might explain the rarity.

A buyer better have small feet to handle those close-together pedals! Wish there was another interior pic showing the swapped instrument apnel and glove box!

Lotta work, must have cost nearly as much as the car.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression the once upon a time in Australia, all left side steer cars had to be converted to right side steer.

Yes correct.
The law changed in Australia in the early 90’s in that a car manufactured prior to 1 January 1989 can be imported and licensed LHD as long as it complies with the Australian Design Rules (ADR’s). The ADR’s commenced in 1969 so vehicles older than 1969 don’t have to comply. So vehicles imported before the rule change had to be converted so there are still lots of RHD converted vehicles in Australia. All later model vehicles, after 1989 must be converted.
