Wiper blade replace
OK, thought I had it, but - - -
When I take them apart and replace the rubber, the ends,
that have LIFT on them, will not stay in place.
The Rubber is 651055 from Corvette Central and the
rib is not thick enough for the ends to grab. In fact, they barely stay in
place even with the 3 locks installed.
Ideas?
I'll call them, but I can't see how these will work.

I believe ZIP is now making and selling exact reproductions for the C2 cars. http://www.zip-corvette.com/63-67-c2...roduction.html

just a comment....
the 'rubber' used in new blades doesn't seem to hold up like the originals; I have 40 year old blades that are better, last longer, than the new ones..

Advance Auto has a vintage sales dept for a lack of a better description. I Got mine for the '67, fit and work perfectly. I am away from home so I can't give you more details. Dennis

The wiper blades on my 55 still work good, that's because they use real rubber, The same story over and over about repro's of any kind , cant beat original but most people will not pay the price or take the time to locate .I'm not saying that about you just saying.

You wouldn't think it would be that hard to copy something,
but, very few do it right.

You don't see very many '57 Oldsmobiles any more - here's a pic I shot of a new '57 Olds J-2 at the Akron dragstrip in October, 1957.

I did not state or set the option, that I need these for a C1 (60).
If I can't find ones that the clips will hold, I'm tempted to try
a dab of silicon. Would much rather find rubber that will fit the clips.
