Steering column cover plate. Covers the steering column wire harness

Look at the very bottom of the steering column
you will see where the wiring enters and goes up to the turn signal switch.
That plate covers the wiring...

I understand now. I knew this wasn't right, I should of figured it out. It wasn't wired when I bought it. Thanks for your help...

the hole where the black wire is - - is where the rest of them go...
might want to really check those wires - make sure they are not pinched or split...

Yep I will. The black wire pictured goes to the brown on the dash harness, correct? That is a new upper bearing I installed in the column and the black wire was attached. I believe it should be brown, I'm not sure now...
