Default Headliner bubble

Search feature didn't yield much. I have an air bubble in my black headliner about 3" in diameter on the side. Is there a way to inject adhesive in there? What adhesive?

I guess you could make a small slit and inject some 3M Super Trim Adhesive in there with the straw nozzle. The black color would prob make the fix not too apparent.

Or, if you have an auto auction or dealer nearby that has an upholstery repair guy let him tackle it. A pro fixed a nasty crack in my '61 headliner invisibly for $40. Before and after pics...

Is it near an edge? If so you might need to remove it and separate it at the edge so you can get access to spray in contact adhesive like 3M Super 90. Then put padding over it and some weight for a couple days. But, often there is a thin foam layer under there that is deteriorating and the cause of the bubble. And most contact adhesives don't like high temperatures which roofs often are subject to unless you get a fairly expensive can of high temp adhesive like they use to install vinyl roofs. So, repair is a pretty iffy prospect.

I was going to try and do this myself, looked like a small job. But there is a well known trim shop here in town. If they can make it look like Frankie's and not charge a fortune, I will take it there. Guess I better check and make sure that's the only place that's separating.
