Holley 3811 date code
Any wisdom on my carb. It is a 3811 / 4160 with a date code of 0503. Everything that I can find states that this Carb was only used on the 1967 390 HP 427. Does 05 mean 1965, O mean October and 3 mean third week?
Or or is this a newly issued Carb by Holley? Some sources show only 3 digits to determine the date code. With the Firt digit being a 6 or 7 determining the year for a 67 390 HP 427.

Holley started using four digit date codes in 1973 – three digit before that. The link below shows how to interpret the codes but just know that there weren’t any four digit codes before ’73.
