Due to circumstances. I parked the gel coated body and chassis during the winter time in a storage container during the winter time. The body person wanted it to sit for at least 6 months before we painted it. The painter and body person took the body out of the storage unit in June/July (not sure was not there.
They painted in August 7. We drove out to the mid west where it stayed in the enclosed trailer for about 6 months. So yes no breathing but dryer than inside of the garage... Less moisture.
I will look underneath the paint and see what is there.
I know it was an exhausting to explain what happened. Just hard to explain since maybe live and learn what to do next time. Just this guy brought it all back from the surface. Still I drive the corvette whenever I get a chance.
I guess I should have said ''a reputable Corvette guy'' or someone experienced with fiberglass cars. I would be upset too and also a bit upset with myself to be honest if I were you. You definitely didn't get your 5k worth considering the guy didn't have to disassemble the damn thing for paint.
