Default Mid year frame differences???

Ok,
I'm looking for a frame for my 67 convertible. Other than the emergency brake mount, what other differences do the 65, 66, and 67 frames have?
Thanks for some input here.

I'm not clear on your question... are you asking about differences within those years, or differences from earlier (63, 64) frames?
I think the 65/66/67 frames were interchangeable (although manual shift frames have a clutch cross-shaft bracket, and the 67 has the emergency brake mount).

Don't they "1967" also have the battery access panel on the drivers side because of A/C...and other years did not...

nope all 63-67 ac cars have that along with 65 396 cars.

all frames got the clutch cross shaft bracket.

but as fair as I can think beside the 67 parking brake bracket 65-67 frames are the same. the only thing I can think can run into a problem is 67 brake lines were routed different then 65-66 cars so there for holes for clips and clamps could be missing

I have a 67 frame under my 66 and as I recollect, it's been a few yrs now, the only issue was the addition of the e brake bracket.

Did the '67 front to rear brake line run differently than a '65-'66?

It's routed where you can replace it with the body on the frame. Unlike what I was told for other years.

I was able to replace the '66 lines with the body on the frame, but the reason I asked is because Zip's paper catalog shows the '67 line on top of the frame in the illustration.

'66 and '67 brake lines run along the bottom of the frame, through a hole in the crossmember.

That's what I thought because I've been thinking the Zip's illustration must be a misprint or error.

I know the 63/64 frames are different, I'm asking about the differences of the 65/66/67 frames. I know the e-brake mount is different, I'm just not sure what else is different.

Coupe frames will lack the #2 body mount under the door sill rails that convertibles have. It can be bought and welded on however.
