Could someone post a pic of how the bowden cables from the dash switch and the foot pedal mount to the wiper motor on a 56 or 57? I have somehow misplaced the retainer for the foot pedal cable, and am trying to determine if I can fabricate one. I am not fully understanding what I see, even after looking at the AIM.

That's the view I am looking for, thanks. I have somehow misplaced the retainer for the foot pedal cable in the 2 years that the car has been apart. I am thinking about milling one out of a block of aluminum, but just need a good view of it. This is one of those parts that is very hard to find.

This part could probably be made of bent sheetmetal as well, but it would be more noticeable.

John:
Did you ever find or make the "doghouse" connection between the bowden cable and the ww motor?
