Will your wife still love it when her bare legs hit those sidepipes after a long drive?

Hey, those are what memories are made of. My second Corvette was a '63 with rear flares and sidepipes.

Nice start! LOL on the pipes. I have sidepipes on the C3, and every time I drive the C2 I find myself taking that extra wide step out of habit albeit unnecessarily.

I don't think my side pipes get that hot, even if I'm wearing shorts but my wife complains about them so I carry an old towel in the car she can lay over the threshold when she gets out.

Nice, and that's a keeper. I had virtually the same car as my first Corvette too (shoulda kept it). Notice that I has money for sidepipes but nit the covers.
