Proper Wiring Harness Routing
I'm taking care of a few loose ends before dropping the 427 back in on the '66 maybe next week and I have a question. Along the top of the fire wall the section of wiring harness that goes to the blower motor and branches down to the starter...Does the part that branches down to the starter go around the right side of the heater core cover or does it go down in front of the cover. Also, which battery post is goes toward the fender, positive or negative?
Starting to get excited about getting the engine/tranny in and I do not want to rush things or get any details wrong. I have an old distributor without a cam gear and I pre-oiled the engine today with it and a drill to check for any oil leaks. That went well. Just finished today getting the rear suspension, brakes, and the whole assembly all together and I'm running out of parts to bead blast and paint...things are looking up!
