Power has a bleeder screw an Non power doesn't. and a picture of the complete unit would also help.

This is a non-power master. The boss is there for the bleeder but it is not tapped. Also notice the thumb screw holding down the lid. Casting number is the same for both.

Make sure the cylinder is a 7/8" bore if you are going to put it on a Corvette. Pass car, Corvair and Chevy II used the same cylinder as standard only in a 1" bore. Only if they got metallic brakes did they get the 7/8" cylinder.

I sold a non-power '63 M/C a while back to a forum member for $200 IIRC.

However...they are making a fairly decent repro now so I think the originals may have taken a value 'hit'...

Correct finish, stamping and a Delco-Morraine piece with correct casting number for about $175... All the vendors have them including Covertte Stainless Steel Brakes Inc...

As long as you find one with that casting number, you're good. They're all 7/8"

Verne

I wonder if the repros have a date code? If so, I'm sure they're all the same.
