Default Tires for C2

I'm planning on buying a set of redlines for my 65 (stock size). Can anyone tell me the available suppliers, estimated $ and recommended choices of supplier?

Thanks in advance,
Lee

IMHO Diamondback is the only company to use. I have the Michelin Defender redlines in 215/70R15...love 'em

Diamondback here also. I put a set of their 215/70/15 Michelins on my 67, 2 weeks ago and they are Great.

Too support the above endorsments, do a search on here and you will find a lot of information about what to buy and what to avoid. Dennis

Oh, and you asked approximate price. If you go with the Michelin Defenders from Diamondback...they'll set you back a skosh over $1000 for the set of four.

I don't know why the picture rotates when it shows one way in the "manage attachments" window and another way when it posts...my apologies for any sore necks.

Default For the budget minded

A couple of years ago I purchased a set of Cooper Trendsetter SE in 205x75-15 whitewalls. The have minimal sidewall decoration and look very nice. I'm not sure they are still in production, but look around. Price was around $250 for the 4. Black walls are a little easier to find.

Excellent points but the OP is looking for redlines and his choices are limited.

I'll add my favorable post to Michelin redlines from DiamondBack. Pricey but worth every penny.

Rick,
Interesting to see all the verbiage on the sidewall of your Michelin's from Diamondback. The Michelin Defenders are smooth sidewall...no writing or branding whatsoever. Which Michelin's did you get??

They are 7 year old Michelin X. At the time DiamondBack offered smoothy sidewalls as an option and I failed to take the option, which I regret now.
