Non Ethanol Gas in FL

Non Ethanol Gas in FL
I am thinking of bringing my 62FI to Fl for the winter and I was wondering if anyone has experience with "recreational" non ethanol gas in their Fuelie in FL.
I run AVGAS up here and it runs great but with ethanol and heat it is a problem.

All the Wawa stations have a pump with a blue handle that is non-ethanol....they are just about everywhere.

Or mix non-ethanol 87 or 91 octane with some VP Racing Gas. That is what I do here in SE Louisiana.

You may luck out and find the gas you want down here. I buy 93 octane non-ethanol at a place nearby that sells non-ethanol 87 and 93 along with 111, 114, and 118 racing gas.
Check out out that pure-gas link. It will show you where you can find non-ethanol and what octanes.

You can buy it at many "general aviation" airports. I've bought it myself. You MIGHT BE able to buy it at Sun N Fun/Lakewood-Linder Regional Airport. I would call to find out.
That being said, you cannot pump it into your car. You cannot drive your car onto the tarmac.
You have to fill 5 gallon (or larger) cans and fill your car elsewhere.

I know for a fact that racing fuel is available at a roadside station off Park Blvd in St. Petersburg area, I pass it when visiting my daughter. An eye-watering price per gallon though...

You can pump it directly into your car there. Back in Maryland, when I bought it, you had to pump it into a jug...

Last time I priced CAM 2, or whatever it's called now at Whetstone Oil/Pure Oil in Crystal River, it was in the $8.50 per gallon range.

Crowd Plow For Now
FYI All - I use premium ethanol (93) in the older cars, ie pre 73 and blower, trimmer etc. and went to fill up a car before winter and a jug for leaf blowing.
The ONLY grade they had was 91. In talking w station Mgr he said that's all they can get now. The refinery where this Sunoco station receives its supply has not refined 93 for over 2 months and looks like 91 is the best I can buy from them. When I got home i called three other ethanol free stations and 91 is best I can find in NC.

You may have to use NOS octane booster like I do because the highest octane non-ethanol that I can buy is 87.
