Is that current or last year's? Please keep it there, we don't want any!
I've been camping at Bemidji once long ago. My dad had an army buddy who ran the farm implement dealership in Roseau (sp?). Very nice territory up there - in summer.
LOL, you live in 'Gods Country' .......learn how to enjoy it .............
Your sled, Dave?
OP - we're supposed to get some of that white stuff Sunday into Monday so I guess summer is really over. (about 70 here today so it will be quite a drop in temp!)
Parked R66 yesterday after a short 2 hour cruise. The boss is not happy. She complained the wind would mess up her DO if we left the top down, I handed her a paper bag and said put it over your head.
I don't know what she is mad about, it could have been a plastic bag and I would have had a quite ride.
It's going to be a long winter in Illinois.

Nothing new! Pic from 1968, at the end of a Fun Rally by the local Corvette Club. Note the hat on the woman partially hidden by the 2 guys, and also the gal in the maroon one. And my date, second pic, had something similar on her head.
Can't complain in the Chicago area, it has been a beautiful fall and I was driving with the top down until 2 days ago. 36F this morning, but no snow thank goodness. Winter always feels terrible when it starts early (as it has the last 2 years), but maybe this one will be OK. I still hope to drive a few more times before they salt. The 435 feels like it has an extra 100 horsepower when the air temp is in the 30's.
It 'was' Don, sold it last year. After 42 years of riding the 'snow ponies' my old knees said no more ! I look back at what we rode in the early - mid seventies compared to today ........wow ! Stock sleds now making in excess of 200Hp !
Pic is in front of my buddies camp on Big Moose lake

Today's the last day for me. It's gonna be mid sixties here in Jersey today with bright sun, so last nice long ride is on today's menu. Tomorrow weather turns downhill (we get your upper midwest arctic air blast and Lake Effect snow storm here on the east coast), and stays that way.
Tomorrow remove hood from the '65, place car OOS, and begin tackling 4 winter items: headlight bucket gear replacement, right front caliper seals, R & R aluminum bellhousing with Quick Time steel explosion proof bell. Either replace leaking heater core or install Vintage Air system.............................or not.

After almost 50 years, she has finally accepted my humor (almost).
We go to the the local watering hole and she tells the girls she let me get a HO to take care of her domestic duties.
But then every once in a while, I need a Hooker too!
Then I get dirty looks and cussed out and have to explain to the girls that I have a Case 580D backHOE and need a HOOKER to chain the load to the bucket.
She told the story at church once, and we were escorted out of the church before I had the opportunity to explain.
After a half a century, you have a lot of TRUE stuff to tell that is not funny at the time, but you both laugh about a decade or score later. Just don't ask her about the strawberry blonde, the dart machine, two bouncers, etc. in West Virginia.
