So I have picked up a 65 vert project. Frame, suspension, trans, s/b engine, diff are done. Body needs a bit of work and then complete reassembly. Not my first vette rebuild but my first c2. I know I'll have some quality garage time ahead and that's why I'm doing it.
Anyway, I prefer the seating in a 67 and plan on a swap to teal interior. Exterior will be ermine white. Anyone know negatives to the interior change? Door panel lock position or seat frame issues?
Anyone have a lead on seat frames ?

Only negative that comes to my mind is the change from original. Probably lowers the value somewhat compared to going original, and invites negative feedback from purists.
Other than that, it sounds like a good-looking combination.
The door locks position are diffreant between 65 then 67. Other then that it should all be the same. You could always buy a used set of 65 panels in good shape and dye them

With this idea I have to wonder about the color match to the seats.. I kinda figured to buy a full interior package to ensure on color mismatch issues.

I'd bet that Corvette America would do 65 door panels in Teal if you contact them, especially when you're buying a complete interior.
Since they make this stuff in house (except the carpet).
