63 Split Window a bit shaky...
There's an eBay ad out there today for 63 fuel car that is very interesting. It is claimed to be a L84 car with power steering, with much GM and dealer documentation showing the factory PS option. Nice, except that: 1) no fuelies came with power steering and 2) the car doesn't really have power steering. Just minor details.
Additionally the car has a couple of other options that weren't available at the time it was built and the numbers on the documentation are not correct. You'd think GM could've got that stuff right...
All this for only $169,000. Gimme two.

We all know that GM did not keep the best records back then hell there could have been a dozen car with FI and PS and it could have been the only 1963 SWC with out the split window that GM made to test for the 1964 model that GM did not remember to record People will tell you anything to make a buck. It is called Buyer Be Ware look and check out before you buy.

I don't see anything about the power steering in the dealer sheet or bill of sale. And I certainly don't see any power steering in any of the photos. It looks to me like a mistake in the ad description. But I'm also sorta' naïve .

There are 3 possibilities:
A) It wasn't originally FI
B) It wasn't originally PS
C) All of the above

I llke the car, and I like the paperwork. (doesn't mean I would buy it)
I think someone made a mistake in some pieces of the paperwork.
Wouldn't be the first mistake.

That one has been all over the NCRS forum and the source of several jokes.

Really? Well here are the window Sticker, Dealer Sheet, Bill of Lading, and Invoice, right out of the add, with "Power Steering" circled. You don't see any power steering because there isn't any, couldn't have ever been (if it's really a fuel car) it'd go through the fuelie oil pan
