Proper lighting lights
so we installed custom headlights on my dads 63. Turn on the parking lights and front parking and tail lights come on. Turn headlights on and headlights come on but front parking lights turn off. Dad said this is normal. I find this hard to believe. Thoughts?

Dad's got it. The parking lights didn't come on with the headlamps until (I believe) 1968. Pretty simple rewire at the headlamp switch if you want to have your parklamps on with your headlamps.

Parking lights
However, you can move the purple wire on the light switch harness to another rung and the parking and main lights will come on at the same time. You can do a search and read about it or wait until next week when I have to change out my switch. At that time I will be able to see where I moved the purple wire. Jerry
