Need 15" x 6" steel wheels with full hub cap nibs
I need 4 of these wheels with stock back spacing for my 1957 Corvette to accommodate 225/70R15 tires.
Anyone know where I can find them?

Yes. Get any standard GM steel wheel with the correct bolt pattern and back spacing and take them to you favorite welding shop and have the nubs welded on.
We've been discussing this on another current thread. I've done this with at least 3 sets of 15x6 wheels and I've never seen a balancing problem on any of the wheels from the added steel. It helps if you have a 15x5 wheel with the nubs that your welder can see so he can apply them as original. A junk hubcap helps, too, so you know they'll go on OK. I've never had one come off once the nubs are present.

I forgot to mention I am going to do a disc brake conversion on this car so I need to consider that also.

I welded some on some rally's once, but it's a bad idea. Rocks can get inside your hubcaps. Of course, they can anyway, but rally's have much larger openings.

If you want 15" X 6" wheels, your best bet is to start with a '67 rally wheel and add the nubs to them. The '65-'66 wheels were 15" X 5.5".

Rally wheel, 15x6. These are an improved design w/larger center hole. They are visually the same with the center cap installed.

Good point, Gusto, but I see on eBay Summit has some 15x6s that should clear the disc brakes. There should still be some these wheels in junkyards, too. But since they can be bent, the new ones from Summit would be a good way to go. My last set was $80 from the junkyard.

Go to the junkyard and get any mid seventies "a" body wheels. If you search Tom Parsons posted what actual cars had six inch wide wheels with the nubs. There were a lot of them. I did and pulled the wheels off of a 76 Cutlass, and they worked great. 20 bucks for 4. Here is a link to a thread I started where Tom mentions which cars. Scroll down a few posts.

Correct, during the mid-70s (and possibly others also), the GM A-body cars (Malibu, Cuitlass, Lemans, etc), with stock wheels, had 15x6 on the 2dr and 4dr cars. The station wagons got 15x7 wheels. They DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT have the OUTER nubs for FULL wheel covers (such as used on 55-62 Vettes), but they do have 4 nubs for the smaller dogdish style caps.
I have these type wheels, 15x6 front, 15x7 rear, on the 56 with 56 dogdish caps. I have a few spares--------------for just in case, and no, I'm not interested in selling them. A good friend of mine has a 62 and has done as mentioned above. Several years ago, he used 15x7 Ralley wheels and had a GOOD welder add nubs. Hasn't lost a wheel cover yet. At one time these wheels were so numerous that they were a dime a dozen------------or even free. Remember all those ugly mid-70s Malibus?
This is front/rear on my 56.
FRONT 15x6
REAR 15x7

Wheel Vintiques Series 67 for tri Five Chevys comes in 15x6 and has the nubs for the full hub caps. They are about $125 ea. and avail at Summit, and several other vendors.

Tom, I remember most of what you have said over the years. Like a few others around here, you are one who has helped an awful lot of people here, and me as much as anybody!
