Default 63 Ignition Switch

Is the 63-64 Ignition Switch available? Most venders seem to offer the universal with no built in shoulders (see pictures) Will the 66-67 fit it appears to be sold with built in shoulder?

Thanks

Long Island Corvette and Dr. Rebuild show the one on the right and if they don't have it then all bets are off for the other vendors to have one. You'll have to get an original or use the repro - which will work fine and be undetectable unless somebody has their head under your dash.

Thanks

The one on the right does not have the tangs that lock it into the dash. Do you know if the 67 will fit?

I think the 67 ignition switch may fit in your dash, but your 63 dash harness won't plug into the 67 switch. The terminals on the 67 switch, are positioned differently than the ones on the 63 switch. The minimum you'd need to make it work, would be the ignition switch plug off of a 67 dash harness.

I don't believe the 63 lock cylinder will work in the 67 switch either. You'd need to use a 67 lock cylinder in the 67 switch.
