Two things always turn me off with these friggin' ads:

1) "Serious inquiries only"

TRANSLATION: Unless you are a complete dolt that believes what I wrote and have more money than brains don't bother me. I'm trying to hook a 'fish' with no frontal lobes. I want $480,000 but I know the car is worth a fraction of that.

2) "Barn Find - Mostly Original"

TRANSLATION: This was a roached out project with a broken odometer (6,000 miles) sitting in somebody's garage that I put back together with what was laying around plus a boat load of repro parts.

When I get those millions the prime minister of Nigeria is sending me because I'm "...a person of considerable personage and known trustworthy demeanor" I'm buying it!

Isn't "Factory Air" supposed to have an outlet just above the clock?

Don't forget the factor heater/ac box delete I wonder if the dealer is that dumb that he believes this or is he just plain stupid

I'm speechless and over the years I have seen about everything, at least I thought I had.

I'd have jumped all over it, but it looks like it doesn't have the day/ night rear view mirror. Guess I'll keep looking.

I particularly enjoyed the handwritten list of options presented as documentation.

Now I know its the 'real deal'

1 of 5 with these options? He must have better books than the rest of us. That's a repro window sticker. Wrong door pulls inside. No front license bracket. "matching numbers transmission" means it has the wrong motor. No stamp pad or frame pics. Not an AC car.

I think I'll just buy it for $480,000 on good faith that the seller really knows his stuff

I'm sure he just accidentally put an extra zero in his price - he obviously meant to be asking $48,000..........

somebody paid $225K for it at Barrett Jackson in 2006.
Says AC, but in the pictures the AC unit is missing along with the center ac vent as talked about here.

Just put the farm up for sale to get the cash to buy it. Will have to live in the jack storage compartment.

Would head down there today if it hadn't snowed a few inches. Only 3 or 4 hours away, but already took the snow tires off of R66.

Don't bust my bubble guys, I am EASY and NOT REAL SMART. My wife will testify to that.

Does it have a 390 Hp or 400 Hp engine? Didn't know that you could get R134 colored service ports on the compressor in 1967 I guess that is the reason the a/c outlet above the clock and below the speaker grill is missing. Probably 1 of 1

Notice that the Z bar was painted, then the paint cleaned off of the tags. NO pics showing any A/C components other than the compressor. I'll bet ther is a '67 out there missing it Z bar. Dennis

Friendly Chevrolet in Dallas is still in business and owned by the same family (Eddin's family). They moved from Lemmon Avenue several years ago and built a Taj Mahal over on Stemmons Freeway (I-35E). I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't get some original info from them on this car...if it truly exists
