Default Help identifying these 327s

One of them should be a 300 hp engine for a '63 split window. Not super familiar with the engine suffix codes though. Trying to go through some things and identify what goes together.

If it I for your car it will be simple because that ID pad will have a partial V.I.N. for your car.

I was just going to say that!!! Here a pic of my restamped now matching numbers block... 1963 corvette blocks are getting harder to find as I found out...I think the date on block has to be within 6 months to be ok with NCRS But, don't quote me on that!

Here is honest to god the block I have in my car "Forged" tag that was JB welded on... The number three VIN isn't even correct..the forged one even sucks..

Correct forged block

If you run across a 1963 327 that was originally a 250 horse standard shift, in an Impala, let me know. Heh,heh, heh.

These were acquired and dint have the car. Would like to reunite the corvette engine to the car if possible. I contacted some folks that may know where the car is, to see if they have interest. Otherwise it likely will be put in NCRS drive line or kept in storage.

I also seem to have a 1966 model three speed corvette transmission with shifter. It doesn't seem to have any VIN or other stamping on it. Not sure if normal or abnormal or just not looking in right area. In this deal we acquired various mid year parts but no mid years to go on.

There is a difference between stating something is "numbers matching" and stating that it is the original born in the car engine.
