Well after all these years (52) I have avoided this procedure and NOW I know why !!
Thanks for all the help............... I think I will ask for some help from the local glass company that has done a few of these!
What would the expected range of charges be, I wonder what the insurance company allows?

My classic car insurance company stroked me a "no questions asked" check for $2,400 to replace my '61 cracked windshield. That should tell you how difficult it is..
