Cars I most whih I had, and why
1. My first car - 1966 Nova SS, 283, 2bbl, PG, P/S, Marina Blue with a silver painted roof (not original). Car is now a dedicated drag racer with a 454 somewhere in central Florida.
2. The 1958 Corvette that got me into Corvettes - belonged to a good friend of mine. Just as I was coming of age "automotive wise" this car grabbed my attention. Car was last seen on a used car lot in Orlando, FL in 1976. My friend sold it in 1975.
3. 1969 Corvette ZL-1 coupe, Daytona Yellow, Black interior. The car that Roger Judski owns. That car has captured my attention from the first time I saw it. I judged that car at NCRS Cypress Gardens in 1991-1992 when Ed Mueller owned it. Stunning car.

Man - some of us can probably go on for ever on this list.
- 68 Black Hemi Charger I found on a used car lot and test drove.
- 67 Maroon 427 Convertible on another used car lot.
- 69 Hemi Charger on a car lot a block from where I lived in college
- 66 Hemi Satellite I found for sale at the bi-annual Petit Jean car lot for sale
- 67 Hemi Charger I found on another used car lot in the 80s - see a pattern here
- Several yellow 67 Corvettes I looked at over the years - probably leading up to painting mine yellow.
- New Kirkham aluminum Cobra with a Keith Craft FE engine, commissioned and for sale by Keith Craft for around $100k at his shop. Today I can't believe how unfortunate the timing was on that one.
I better stop.

Like DansYellow66 said, I could go on and on and on..........
But the car I distinctly remember the most was a 1970 Boss 429 Mustang for sale from a private party. Grabber orange with about 4,000 miles on it. Was and still is one of my top 3 favorite cars. I went to look at it intending to buy it. The owner took me for a test ride. As we turned the corner back onto his street in a residential area, he laid into it. Had the car half sideways in the street. He could drive that car, brought it back around and down the street we went. Scared the ever living hell out of me, and that was when I was young and invincible. I figured that if I bought that car, I would probably get killed in it. Somehow common sense prevailed and I walked away. Ended up buying my first Corvette a few months later.

I'd love to have that Mustang today, but I think if I got it at the time I never would have gotten into Corvettes.
Another car I wish I had back was the 1971 Challenger I drove in college as a winter car. My boss sold it to me for $125 in 1977. It had 100k miles and never had a thing done to it, his parents bought it for him new. It was a cool ride, 318 slapstick automatic. Probably has a Hemi in it now but I'd like it back.

In 1982 I bought a 1968 RS SS Camaro. 396 4spd convertible in 1982 sold it to buy my 63 Vette. The 68 Camaro was all original.
