you must move or drop the pan in the front. in your other thread you said about leaks. are you just throwing parts at it hoping to fix it or are you 100% sure thats where its leaking. have you looked into the leak dye that use a UV light?

Yes..it can be done. Done it many times in my "flat rate" mechanic days. Loosen a few of the front oil pan bolts and slightly trim the edge of the metal lip at the ends and it will go back in. Never had any leak issues. And this was before the good silicones arrived on the scene.
When installing it back on, use two long drift punches through the cover bolts to pry down while pushing it back in place.
