1960 paint question.
I hope there is someone on the Forum that can clear this up for us.
I met a fellow that bought a 1960 Vette a few months ago and is getting it restored. The guy at the shop stripped the paint and told the car owner that when he was stripping the car he found signs that the car originally was aztec copper which is a 1957 vette color. He checked with someone who said fifteen(15) 1960 vettes were painted 1957 aztec copper.
I looked in the Black Book and it said, in 1960, fifteen vettes were painted in non vette colors or primer. Does anyone have a knowledge on this?

Research the Shriner cars. That's about how many they would have ordered. And they had them painted Cadillac colors
