ok, i got my hinges out and ready for a rebuild. i seen on the forum that the dorman kits are the best! well dorman does not make a kit with pins any longer?! i could only get bushings and the new ones are a little shorter. well i replaced my bushing, and there still is a bit of play in the hinge! what next? where can i get pins? the venders sell kits i see. but from what i seen on the forum is that they dont fit right either? let me know guys! thanks troy
Thank you nowhere man. But that's kind of where I'm at right now. The bushing kit that I have came from the help section.
the shorter bushing is the replacement. The longer one is the factory bushing

I see the Dormam kits all over. Even on the Dorman site.
frankie, they do not look the same. they show 2 different bushing styles in the kit. and that is not the way the factory is. im really getting to the point that maybe i will have to make my own..thanks troy

That is what I used. The kit is designed for several cars..... hence the extra bushings. I used the bronze bushings. I don't care what 'specs' the package says - they were tight enough that I installed the bushings with a socket and "C" clamp. They work like a hot knife through butter.
