Default Trim Tag

I received an email asking me to look at a '65 that the buyer was interested in. Checkout the trim tag pictured in this ad.

Did someone rivet a shark tag on the door jam? That doesn't look like any location on a mid year. Maybe the seller uploaded the wrong pic??

Provette:

It sure is a pretty RED color............. Must be original.

Did you inspect it and find it "Numbers Matching"

Larry

PS: I think you saved the potential buyer a big headache. He should thank you........even if you didn't make the trip.

Stevie Wonder, Ronnie Milsap, and even Ray Charles in his present state could have told that one was a fake!

YEA, but for $1,200, I would buy it for the body parts.
Are you kidding me, I haven't seen a number like that since 1975 when a friend traded in his 63 SWC for a Caddy for $1500 trade-in and the Caddy was junk. His girl friend got her feet wet going to a dance and he let the P***Y rule.

It may not be as sinister as it seems. If you look at their website, they have several red C3's. That tag picture may have just gotten mixed up with the C2. Also the C2 has a red interior and the trim picture looks to have a black interior to the right side of the picture. Possibly an honest mistake?

This actually is at least the second time this ad has been listed on ebay. I sent the seller a message about the C3 trim tag the first time I saw it. The car did not sell, imagine that. But then they relist the same ad

I think I see a red interior (can't really tell for sure), whereas the ad lists it as black.......
