Default Wiring Question

Is there anyone that restores wiring harnesses or do you just buy new reproductions?

I've done some searching and all I find is different companies selling their version of the harnesses.

It's for a 65 coupe.

Thanks!

Just buy a new one, many manufacturers, M & H, Lectric Limited, American Autowire, etc. I like to buy from Eagle Wire although there are many distributors and retailers.
Many who are supporting vendors on this forum such as Keen Parts, Corvette Central.

This is good advice.

The only way to "restore" an old harness is to replace everything which deteriorates: Wire, which is likely to have broken strands and cracked insulation, connectors which become brittle and shatter, terminals which corrode.....

After you do all that, you've got a new harness anyway.

Replace with new, and save old one, for all the connectors....that is what is worth the $1,000 you will spend on all new units....

But it is worth it....new harness makes a world of difference in getting rid of 50 year old gremlins.....and less chance of fire..
