Thanks all, I got the list.

What I find interesting is that there are VINs (at least one) missing from the list.

E53F001184 was on the list, at least the final list. The owner of 1184 has one of the Corvette News plaques with that VIN number on it.

Perhaps other 53 cars got registered after the contest was over.

Exactly

like the 1969 Camaro Z28. they only made 30,000; and now there are only 60,000 left to buy on ebay alone.

Your correct that other 53's were located after the Honor Roll Plaque was made. If I remember 72 or 73 53's are on the plaque when I was contacted by Joe Pike, editor of the Corvette News, in Dec of 1971. At that time he indicated that the number was up to 108 mine would be 109. I received the dash plate, sterling silver fascia plate, shortly thereafter. I have no information on how many more 53's were found after mine.....

One would think a 53 would be harder then a 69 z28 or 67 L71, but who knows... I'm no scam artist

Great info Thanks for sharing. I'm learning something new each day.

It sounds like you've owned your 53 for a long time. That's really neat.

I'd imagine you have to be one of the longest owner span of a 53. I bet you have some stories to tell.

They both look beautiful. I looked at the registry and was shocked to see what #184 looked like before. He must do some excellent work. It looks better then new now.

Please educate me I see both cars and they appear to be beautiful and stunning. Besides reading the ad and looking at the pictures, I can pick one over the other. They both look exceptional. Can't you go wrong with either car?

Both cars should Top Flight & Bloomington Gold with no problem. If they don't they you have a judge problem.

My friend sold #184 to him. It is definitely a much different car now. It is stunning.

I am looking forward to how it judges.

You're correct... both cars are stunning. After seeing what they looked like before I'm amazed they turned out so nice. Both must have been complete cars, because I know a 53 resto can't be easy.
